 Lonnie Johnson was a "Rocket Scientist" for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). In addition to a decorated career serving in the U.S. Air Force, he worked at the Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, California. Throughout the course of his illustrious career, Lonnie has earned numerous awards, commendations and medals for his work as an actual space ship designer and Senior Engineer on space missions to Jupiter, Mars and Saturn. He helped to develop at least 3 NASA space probes before earning his patents for  the Super Soaker®  Water Gun.

  In only a few short months, one of Lonnie's inventions took the toy water gun industry from $20 million to $200 million a year, with his patented models dominating nearly 90% of the Market!.  

Lonnie recently won a contest for one of his latest inventions in alternative energy technologies.
